City of Pernik, Bulgaria 2004

The year 2004 has been marked as one of the most exciting years in Carnival for the Tal-Banda Carnival Troupe as yet.

Apart from coming second in the national carnival competitions and awarded the FECC Jubilee medal for outstanding contribution in local carnival, the Tal-Banda leaders have been presented in Bulgaria with the certificate showing the true nature of the medal.

Charlie and Carlo went for their first FECC Convention held in City of Pernik, Bulgaria, between the 23rd and 30th of May. The experience was exhaustive but magical, and now they consider themselves as part of a big carnival family with many new friends, both locally and internationally.

Tal-Banda are proud to be the first float builders team in the world to be members of the FECC. They feel that they have a fruitful contribution to give to such an organization.
